This little angel blessed the world in July!
We had an impromptu photo shoot with little Maxwell when he was just a few weeks old.
For the ones where he is wrapped in a blanket, we used a Boppy Pillow which may be my new favorite newborn prop. It’s far easier to use and lug around than the beanbag I currently have and use. And it provides a nice little cradle that is just the right size.
Considering we didn’t really plan the whole thing out, I think we made some great images! Such a little sweetheart <3
Fall is almost here, and with it comes a great time for fall photos! The colors, leaves, and opportunity to wear boots, scarves, and fun layers always makes for beautiful photos. Not to mention the wonderful light outside.
I’ve created this list of dates for available sessions in Seattle and Tri-Cities for the next few months since I will be back and forth between the two cities quite a bit. I’ll update this list here and on Facebook as dates book up.
Contact me to book your date and time for your Fall session. It’s a great season for 2015 seniors, families, engagements — it’s beautiful regardless of what we’re shooting 🙂 Check out one of my favorite Fall sessions from last year.
I’ve known Lourdes for many years. We went to school together way back when. So I was honored when she contacted me to photograph her wedding at Seattle Pride 2014.
I love love, it’s something you will hear me say at any event that surrounds two people in love. I’m such a sap!
This couple is so amazingly perfect together. I’m so happy to have captured their special day <3
I love designing event invitations and collateral because it’s almost endless creativity.
As an experienced event designer, I somewhat think of the collateral as a brand of it’s own, and the invitations set the stage for a successful “user” experience. I always aim to hook the attendees and excite them for their upcoming experience. Collateral included the invitation, website hero image, and all the other touches on social media, in-office publications, and eNewsletter teasers.
This particular event was a lot of fun. I found a wonderful winemaker based in my hometown (my Mom is a wine club member), to do a wine blending event. Since the event took place in February, I did a play on winemaking-matchmaking for the Valentine flair. Each guest had a place setting (themed as well!) with five wine glasses, four full of different varietals from the winemaker.
Guests would then use a syringe to blend the varietals. After the event, I had the winemaker bottle the “winning” blend and shipped them out to the guests.
After the event, I also announced the winning blend and its “recipe”.
Overall a successful and fun event with an awesome brand.
