Aside from the gorgeous golden late summer Seattle evening, this mama totally rocked her maternity session. I am so in love with this session and adore this beautiful mama and her family.
We began in late afternoon in Discovery Park, then made a quick pit stop for a wardrobe change, then headed off to an impromptu finale at Richmond Beach. We had some of the most beautiful light I think I’ve ever seen, and Rachel sure knows how to work the camera.
Thank you for deciding to take these photos, and choosing me to capture them! You’re a rock star and going to make a fabulous Momma to little Thomas <3
When two people fall in love, it’s beautiful. When a family falls in love, well, there are no words.
I can’t begin to describe in words how beautiful this day was, the photos below and this awesome video will speak to it’s awe. But the best part of the day, were the tears of joy by all of the families and friends (myself included!) as we watched the formation of a family.
The venue and grounds of Storybrook Farms were breathtaking. The bridal party got ready in the expansive house. There were so many great rooms and spaces within the mansion, and endless outdoor spaces. The ceremony took place just outside of the mansion on a cobblestone patio filled with rustic antique chairs overlooking the farm and vineyard. This perfect evening ended with the dream reception filled with delicious food, sweets, and great music. Kyla + Matt thought of every detail, and reflected their style and creativity.
Thank you again to Kyla + Matt, and your delightful girls, for letting me be a part of your day, and being fantastic clients and friends. Congratulations, and cheers to a happily ever after.

I am so excited for this June wedding!
I met Kyla back in college, we were in the same Business program. She’s such a light, and I was honored when she asked me to photograph her Wedding. We shot these gorgeous engagement photos here in Seattle. We started at the Seattle Arboretum (Washington Park Arboretum), and rushed to catch a sunset in Ballard on this awesome dock and some old railroad tracks.
How gorgeous! One of my favorites has to be the reflection photo that was taken on the Wilcox footbridge in the Arboretum. Such a creative shot that happened almost accidentally. Only great things to come from this upcoming wedding!

This past August I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the wedding of two beautiful people. I’ve know Amanda for some time through a mutual friend. I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph their special day.
Originally, the wedding was just going to be an intimate family ceremony, but things quickly changed into a full-blown wedding. It was a near-perfect day in Snohomish at Thomas Family Farm. It was a perfect August country-chic wedding.
